What clothing item do you wish could be banned?

Yes, I did write a big ole rant about this QotD, but I decided it was needlessly angry. Instead, I've whittled it down to it's most enlightened bit, posted above.

So true. Though, I suppose that the question is oblique enough that you could answer it with an item of clothing that you "have" to wear to fill your role in society, but that you wish you didn't have to.

I mean, us menfolk aren't usually strapped into instruments of torture most of the time, but I suspect there's a whole list of aesthetic requirements for women in "polite society" that are less than comfortable.

That's cool. You can appreciate others for their beauty, but must stop short of treating the lady in shabby dress as if her sole purpose is to be pleasing to your eye.
